Hello  viewers
Welcome to Divya desa yatra.
We have great pleasure in sharing with you, our fabulous experiences in the most sacred places, “divya desams”. We would like to bring out the highlights of our journey to divyadesams.
There are many organizations which conduct divya desa  yatra frequently. Though it is safe, in terms of money and health, to visit divya desams in a group, as many temples are in remote areas, it gives extreme pleasure and satisfaction when one goes to these places individually. It is indeed a thrilling experience and retains in the memory forever. There is a chance to forget the place of visit when we go with the group as they cover many temples in one day. Instead if we plan properly for a trip to divya desams, we get enough time to spend in each temple which would give us immense happiness.
One can aquire the complete information about the divya desams through many websites, but the purpose of our blog is to express our views. This blog would not give you all the details about the divya desams since it is already available in many websites. We referred www.prtraveller.blogspot.com to collect the information which helped us in a great way.
We also get the contact details  of the priests in all the temples on the above cited website. One must not miss to visit these divya desams in the life time as it gives an opportunity to discover the beauty of almighty.
As you are aware that there are 97 divya desams in south India alone out of which we visited about 82 divya desams. Along with divya desams we also visited many ancient temples and picnic spots located nearby. We are yet to visit the divya desams located in Kancheepuram.
It is a big task to plan for visiting these divya desams as they are located in different directions and some in remote areas. We need to keep in mind  the following points before we plan out.
1.       The location of temples
2.       Distance details
3.       Number of temples to be visited in one day.
4.       Accommodation and mode of transport.
5.       Availability of tickets
Now-a-days,  booking the train tickets has become a very difficult job. One should plan well in advance to get the tickets. Similarly one must arrange  for accommodation based on the convenience to visit the temples as per schedule.
We feel that it is better to visit the places like Thirukkurungudi (Malaimel Nambi), Ahobilam, Sholingur, Badrinath etc.. at young age as it requires lot of physical stamina.
To begin with we are posting the details of our journey to  divya desams near Trichy.  Gradually we will post the journey details of other divya desams also. Hence we request you to visit our blog frequently.
Please feel free to post your valuable suggestions and comments.
